What she can do
What you can do together with YUI on your desktop.
She lives on your screen
She stands on your desktop as a transparent character over your other windows. She breathes, blinks, and follows your mouse cursor with her eyes. Drop her on a window's top edge and she sits there, or behind a window's side edge and she peeks out. She also strolls along the floor and across window tops, and she falls and lands when you let go of her in mid-air. Tap her head, chest, or hips, or press and hold her head for a pat, and she reacts.
Talk to her
Type to her, or speak to her with voice input. You can attach images to a message by pasting them, dragging them in, or picking them with the clip button. She answers in a speech bubble, and the message window keeps the conversation apart from her if you prefer that. While she replies, you can stop her, and with barge-in on you can also cut her off by speaking.
Her voice and expressions
She speaks her replies aloud in a voice you choose, and you can import a voice of your own. Her mouth moves with her speech, and her face and body react to what she says, with emotions and motions that match her words. While she thinks, she shows a waiting motion and says a short line. You can switch to your own character model and import more.
She speaks first
She can start a conversation herself, within limits you control in the settings. She can greet you at set times of day, check in after you have been idle for a while, and say hello at your first activity of the day. If you turn on screen watching, she can comment when you switch apps or stay in one app for a long time. Between turns she keeps a quiet gap, and she can always choose to stay silent.
Your coding agents
With External signals turned on, she tells you when a coding agent finishes a task or needs your input.
Delegated work
When her backend runs work in the background for you, a chip near her lists that work. Tap the chip to see the list.
Conversation history
The History tab keeps your past conversations on your device, and you can start a fresh conversation at any time.
Choose her mind
She uses whichever AI backend you connect, from a plain chat model to a full agent. How smart she is depends on that backend; who she is comes from the persona text you write in the app, or from the agent itself.
Languages
The app speaks English, Japanese, and Korean.
